About Mold

Mold is the county town of Flintshire. Flintshire County Council became the unitary authority after a re-organisation of local government in Wales in 1996. With a population of around 9,700 and many local organisations and groups, a bustling market held in the streets of the town, a cattle market and farmers market as well as its own theatre.

For tourism, town-centre promotion and “what’s on” content, head over to Totally Mold.

We work alongside partners such as Flintshire County Council and local organisations to get the best outcomes for Mold.
