· Promote Mold as a destination, encouraging people to live, work, invest and spend time in our historic market town.
· Deliver high-quality services that provide excellent value for money while continually seeking opportunities to improve.
· Enhance quality of life by supporting initiatives that make Mold cleaner, greener, safer and more connected.
How We Achieve This
To turn our vision into reality, we are committed to:
- Listening to our community and understanding its hopes and priorities for the future.
- Supporting the vitality and long-term success of Mold’s town centre, businesses and local economy.
- Working in partnership with public bodies, businesses, charities and community organisations to deliver positive outcomes for the town.
- Promoting sustainable practices and protecting our environment for current and future generations.
- Fostering an inclusive and caring community where everyone feels valued, respected and able to participate.
- Helping to create attractive public spaces that are clean, safe and enjoyable for residents and visitors alike.
- Regularly reviewing our services to ensure they remain efficient, effective and represent good value for public money.
- Supporting local voluntary organisations and community groups whose dedication strengthens Mold and enriches the lives of those who live in and visit our town.
Together, we are building a stronger, more sustainable and more prosperous future for Mold, one that celebrates its heritage while embracing new opportunities for generations to come.
Committees and Working Groups
Mold Town Council carries out much of its work through a range of dedicated committees and working groups. These enable councillors to focus on specific areas of responsibility, make informed decisions, and help deliver services and projects that benefit the community.
Some committees have delegated authority to make decisions on behalf of the Council, while others make recommendations that are considered and approved by the full Council.
